Dr. Robert Sturkey created a robust, family-oriented general dental practice more than 25 years ago. Today, he is just as dedicated to providing excellence in dentistry as he was the day he opened the office. Dr. Sturkey and his ten-member team are committed to promoting a care philosophy based on individualized treatments and personalized attention.
Dr. Sturkey grew up in Akron, Ohio, and attended the Ohio State University School of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He has pursued continuing education in dental implants, ClearCorrect™, TMJ/TMD, oral/facial pain, and sleep apnea, as well as all aspects of general and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Sturkey lives in Akron with his wife of 21 years. Most important to him are his family, his faith, and his health. He has completed 14 full marathons and is a Cleveland and Ohio State sports fan, for better or worse. Dr. Sturkey and his staff often support local and overseas missionary efforts through patients or through his church.
